The General Council of Spanish Procurators (Consejo General de Procuradores) is holding a meeting with the executive committees of the International Union of Judicial Officers (UIHJ) and the European Union of Judicial Officers (UEHJ) in Madrid to examine the role of procurators and their counterparts across various legal systems, comparing their functions and discussing the distinctive features of each role.

Representatives from various countries will be taking part – in Spanish, English and French – in a round table discussion moderated by Mr Luis Ortega, Special Advisor to the President and former Vice-President of the UIHJ.

NAKOM provides simultaneous interpreting services in all three language pairs (EN<>ES, FR<>ES and FR<>EN) to ensure that presentations and specialised legal concepts, which often lack direct equivalents in different legal systems, are accurately conveyed.
