At NAKOM we know that every area of expertise, for example legal, engineering and medical fields, requires different skills. That’s why we collaborate with over 1500 specialised native-speaking professionals worldwide, including linguists, university professors and lecturers, engineers, legal experts and practising lawyers.

Quality, attention to detail, experience and specialisation are the main criteria NAKOM seeks in our collaborators. The professionals who work for us come from all over the globe, have a minimum of over five years’ experience and meet the conditions established by the quality standard ISO 17100:2015.

Translation services

Text translation

Every field needing to be translated has its own specific language. That’s why it’s crucial for teams working on translation projects to be formed of native-speaking linguists specialised in that field and professionals for every subject. Our project managers study each project’s characteristics and choose a team of specialists to suit.

We also use the most advanced technology in the sector so we can shorten turnaround times, ensure texts are coherent and adapt terminology, language and style to our clients’ requirements.

Economy

A client-tailored service, whenever possible! A service for projects needing a quality translation but not an expert level. We select the resources that are available and suitable for the initial quote and then we inform the client of the level of quality that can be expected for that price.

If you’d like to get an idea of what a document says or integrate machine translation to translate big data or a large volume of content at an inexpensive price, we can offer you our technology and add layers of expert revision if you require.

If you need a better quality translation, however, although not an expert level, we select the resources that are available and suitable for the initial quote and then we inform the client of the level of quality that can be expected for that price.

In short, we’ll tailor our services to your requirements whenever possible. But, unfortunately, we cannot perform miracles!

The translation of websites and software localisation and internationalisation. NAKOM collaborates with programmers and translators to obtain a good translation and adapt computer programs and web pages based on their original format. The localisation and internationalisation of web pages, video games and other software involves translating a program’s resources (dialogue boxes, menus, links, etc.). Not only is the visible program text translated, but also the language code used to configure it and which the user doesn’t see. Localisation and internationalisation enable codes sending users from one section to another to work properly in a multilingual space.

Text revision. Any translation process involves text revision by native speakers who are specialists in the subject matter translated. However, this service may be requested on its own, as a way of ensuring that the style, terminology and quality of a text are perfectly suited to its purpose. Sometimes we recommend that the original text is reviewed before being translated into other languages.
