Suitable for meetings, conferences or seminars with several languages which call for a fluent and immediate communication. This technique may be done from soundproof cabins or with a portable system called infoport or bidule. The interpreter listens to the speakers and conveys the message in real time through a microphone so that the people attending the event can receive it in their own language through receivers.

This is the best option for meetings with a small amount of participants, like interviews, diplomatic negotiations, press conferences or other formal events. The interpreter will be next to the speaker taking notes while they are talking and then convey it in another language once they have stopped talking.
Whispered Interpreting or ‘Chuchotage’

This is a type of simultaneous interpreting used in meetings or negotiations with only a few people present. The interpreter will translate and whisper what the speaker is saying to one or two people in their own language. To guarantee the quality of service, this is best when interpreting for very few people.
