Last week we recommended a program<\/a> aired on channel TVE 2. The program centred around a debate on the future of Spanish, which featured Carmen Caffarel, direct of the Cervantes Institue, Xos\u00e9 Castro, translator and presenter of the tv program “Palabra x palabra”, and Alberto Oliart, president of RTVE.es, as well as other linguists and commentators.<\/p>\n

One of the main talking points of the debate was the health of the Spanish language within the context of new technologies.<\/p>\n
