What began as small gatherings under the auspices of the Norwich Rotary Club grew in size. Periodic meetings would be held which, in turn, would eventually turn into an entire movement.<\/p>\n<p>The organization arrived in India in 1957, and firmly established itself in 1962 with the creation of Round Table India. The foundation currently has over 2,500 volunteers at 175 Tables scattered around the country.<\/p>\n<p>The organisation\u2019s primary goal is to eradicate illiteracy, to improve health and sanitation, and to promote service through fellowship.
